This is a charming tale set in 1296 AD, Lord Iain MacAlister has been commanded he must marry or the king, Longshank will appoint him a less worthy bride and remove his title and privileges.  Annie Marshall sends readers to the past in Her Highland Destiny.  Kenna MacKellar in present day is touring some of the great castles in Scotland.  In her travels, she falls unconscious to wake back in the medieval times in the arms of Iain.  Overwhelmed by her beauty and fighting charm, he decides he must protect this woman and take her as his bride. 

  Marshall has delivered a fantastic story with the only issue being the readers want more.  Characters are delivered with enthusiasm and creativity. The plot was indulgent yet allowed the reader to follow along. This might be a book I will need to add to my private collection!  Great job!
