From the world of conspiracies, murder, and love comes Miracle of Fate. Lynn Englund sets the tone for a high action thriller splashing in a very steamy relationship. C.J. MacFarlane and Evan Masters, find their success and happiness from the pains of two gunshot wounds to the chest. After watching the man that saved her life fight for his own in a coma, C.J. finds her heart in a new place. With a plot to eliminate them, they must find a way to erase the mark set upon their life.

   As far as the plot stands, several factors interfere with the ability of this book. From the beginning, a plot of conspiracy awaits the reader. As a Brotherhood brings forth three new members, Englund entices readers to expect more. Importunely, this is not quite what is delivered. As the romance between C.J. and Evan transpire, in parts the idea of the Brotherhood begins to escape the reader. With a poor dialog not fitting characters and often mimicking one another, it is hard to hear the individual voices. Saying that, the use of the letters provided a very personal touch and brought an emotional texture to the read. Additionally, the ending conflicted with past events. As characters fell to their memories, a smoother transition would assist the reader from possibly getting confused. Cleaning up these issues and adding more information for the reader would make this a great book. It is not missing potential.
