Winston Simon, once a Private Detective, (before his office was blown up by a vengeful drug cartel) found it difficult to leave that life behind him, and even basking in the warm island sun, didn’t seem to cure his sixth sense of dread. Something was going to happen, he could feel it, but it would be another sleepless night before he’d learn the cause. His chosen retirement was bothersome, despite the fact that he now had the time to focus his attention to his beautiful model companion, Sena. He had to get back to work.
His bad news came from his best friend, Thomas James, or TJ as he called him. His daughter Jacki had been arrested for murder. Winston rushed to her rescue, learning that she’d been drugged and had no clue about what had happened. It was enough evidence to insure her release, but ‘Detective Winston Simon,’ wasn’t done with this case. His daughter had told him of the club she’d recently joined. The ELM, short for Earth Liberation Movement, had held responsibility for a lot of misconduct in the past. His interest in this case would prove to be more trouble than he expected.
‘Lethal Knowledge’ is a fast paced, well plotted crime story that will keep the readers interest. This is normally not my favorite genre, but I enjoyed this read a lot. It would make a great addition to any crime-lovers library.
