Author: Anthony Stevens

Defiantly offering a creative plot, Anthony Stevens delivers an action packed tale filled with a vast array of characters from many different walks of life.  Guardian Dawn is the story of individuals that find they have special talents and gifts; their mentor and team leader Julius guides them throughout.  Understanding a terrorist plot has been set into motion, the team set off to eliminate the threat.  As those gifted continue to enhance their abilities, nature and human become one.

Using the super-natural concept to foil a terrorist plot is original.  At times, events seemed too far-fetched to be seen as predictable reactions. There was a very masculine overtone with all characters., and the sexual assault scenes did not seem to work well with the story.  Neither the women held as hostages nor their captors, were believable either in dialog or in actions.  I did find that Stevens put together events that would later coordinate to create future events.  With work on smoothing the gaps, giving each character their own personality and voice, and actions fitting a scene or situation, this could be a very good read.
