In India, it’s the common belief that everyone has past lives and what you do in the current life affects the way your next life unfolds. For Raman Menon and his daughter Gita, they’ll encounter an opportunity to right a few past wrongs.

A man named Gopal and his assistant Rajan, have no problem taking what they want, anything that catches their eye, especially women. Raman would like to marry Gita, if only it weren’t for the fact that she is already set to marry another and she has no interest in Gopal whatsoever. One day, he decides to take what he wants anyway, at least in the carnal sense. Suddenly refusal becomes a struggle for life… Gopal throws her over a high cliff and she is instantly and unpeacefully killed. When her father hears of her death, he goes into cardiac arrest and then a coma but is expected to recover. But someone else has different ideas for him. Upon his rather quiet death, he takes anger with him into the afterlife. He wants to exact revenge on the man that he thinks is his daughter’s killer. Once he is born into another life, he can take care of those past wrongs.

In my opinion, this was an interesting subject and an interesting scenario,  but reincarnation is something that personally interests me. This book has a weird, but good plot. It needs a read over for the editorial errors.
