AUTHOR:Theodocia McLean
There is something among us moving in the night. It moves among women, girls and even young boys. It wants us. It studies us. It becomes curious until that curiosity turns into obsession. Then it happens… the lights, the pain, the questions. It took Samantha Covington straight to the Internet to try to find answers. From there, she found Watchers of the Dark. It is a group of other people who have experienced or know someone else who has experienced this strange phenomenon that only happens at night. Some are lucky to still be able to tell their story. Some took their own lives. All that remains is lots of questions and the solidarity in their group that will help them solve this mystery and help them through other burdens that come from telling their story.
I found this story a bit bizarre, until I remembered stories of Incubus, Succubus and sleep paralysis, all things that can occur in your sleep. Like this author's previous story, it is extremely thought-provoking, to the point that I now want to look into the background of the this story. Here again, the only thing I'd critique is the very formal sounding dialogue, along with some very minor spelling mistakes and grammatic errors. Overall, it was a very interesting story.
