Due to the size of the larger books, we can only accept PDF's 275 pages and under. Books over 275 pages must be mailed in for review.
Q- I have requested a review, when can I expect it to be posted?
A- In most cases it’s like any other reader would choose a book. We look at the genre and the description. Your description must grab the reader, so in a way it’s just like selling your stuff. All review requests will eventually be read, some just take longer than others. Also you must understand that our reviewers are all part time; and unless the requests go through the Fast Track, they do this on a voluntary basis.
On occasion the free reviews are shut down due to an overwhelming number of requests, so until we get caught up, we pause the submissions. It also allows the long- standing requests that have been waiting to be read, get reviewed. Once we’re caught up, the free reviews offers will open again.
Q-What other services does GhostWriter Reviews offer?
A- We offer editing services- in some cases, if necessary, our reviewers will make suggestions on improving your book, or point out the problem areas. For some, this will make little difference with the already published book, but it could help with future work. Each review form has questions that go to the heart of the read. Sometimes the reviewer will make notations to be passed along to the author. This is free, but we also have full editing services, that does have a small fee.

GhostWriter also has an Ebook store and a gift shop. To have your book created and sold in the Ebook store, you must own the rights to your work, "or" ask permission from your publisher for your ebook rights. We don’t want conflict with publisher issues. Ebook prices run between $2-7, depending on size of the book and what the author feels they’d like to sell the book for. A paypal account is helpful. Book prices are raised slightly to cover the fee. In most cases the books come from the authors, but we are a recognized vender by some publishers and buy the books directly from them when they’re ordered. There is no fee to list your book

Our Forum is new, and it can sometimes give valuable information on publishing, advertising, editing and contests. If we think it’s helpful we’ll post it. Authors are welcome and encourage to get involved. Ask questions, strut your stuff, share your experiences, or just tell us what’s on your mind. However posting an advertisement that is not book related- (such as spam) will be deleted. We have no tolerance for foul language, or an attack on any person or their work. These too will be deleted. Please take the time to sign up.
Books are advertised through reviewer sites. One of our reviewers even has a book Hall of Fame, where she lists her reviews.
Q- How are the Reviews Rated, and are editing mistakes listed on the review?
A- Our rating system is listed on another part of this site. Generally, we do not openly tear a book down, but your stars will reflect the issues. We may make mention of slight editing problems, but mostly we keep this between the author and the reader.
Q- I’m not yet published- can I still be reviewed?
A- Actually some of our reviewers prefer this. This gives you the opportunity to fix some minor problems, or seek professional editing for bigger ones. We are not only here to review, but to help the author’s book be a success. But 'please' tell us if your review request is for an unedited book. Editing issues do reflect your rating, and without prior knowledge, we assume you're sending the final copy.
Q- I am unpublished but would like to use your Ebook services, is this possible?
A- Yes. The best part about this is that the author keeps their rights, so they’re free to query publishers while maybe still make a few dollars on their work. There is no contract, and all work is safely put into Ebook format. Ebooks are removed upon authors request.
Q- Are the reviews listed on places like Amazon and B&N?
A- Amazon requires a sale in order to post a review, so We can not post reviews on Amazon, we can however post them on B&N and will upon request. Please take advantage of our review links and/or seal.
